Whats wrong with my valve?

I think theres something wrong with my sprinkler valve, I've modded it up so its got a blow gun ontop of it (i used the spudtech "no drill" tutorial) when I blow on the chamber side of the valve I can feel alittle bit of air reaching the barrel side...Is that normal? Heres a few images of the disk inside,




The sprinkler valve itself is brand new so i dont think the disk inside is damaged...

These valves require a bit of pressure to make a proper seal.When i blow though my valve it leaks aswell but then it's aired up it works fine but also make sure the flow is the right way.
