Boom! The classic potato gun harnesses the combustion of flammable vapor.

Haven't tried with potatoes. I get ~40 second hang times with golf balls out of my big (250ci chamber) combustion, with a 7' barrel, using metered propane. I'd bet 20-25 sec with a spud.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

Home made golf ball barrel (cut a 1/4" slit lengthwise out of 2" pipe, and force it into another section of 2" pipe). Wasn't a perfect fit, but worked OK. I broke that barrel a long time ago. I need to find a local plumbing shop that sells SDR-21.

Also, I haven't timed a golfball hang time run with a stopwatch, just counting "one onethousand" etc... so 40sec might be a little generous. 35 at least :)

Peace,
Pete aria.

for my science class we had to figure out projectile tragectory/hang times in order to hit my science teacher with a water ballon.

I was gonna say... talk about a living contradiction... Points out that someone violated the rules, inturn violating the rules himself.

Don't do it again mindtrick, or there might be problems with the higher ups.
