im trying to put pics on my other thread but there way to big, they're 321kb, and i have made em smaller before using the stretch/skew on paint but my paint on my comp got deleted some how and now i cant use that so can anyone tell me how to make em 150kb or less without paint?

Use a site like photobucket or putfile. It saves a lot of trouble.

There is two major components that determine a images size, both the size of the image and the file type. What I do is leave the original picture from my camera, in my 'Camera' folder, from there I both reduce the image size, and change to a .jpeg file format and save in a 'Upload' folder. It sounds as if your problem is you saving it as a .bmp, .png, or something else. There is no problem with the SpudFiles uploader, its the users.

If you adjust the image quality, there obviously will be a drop in qualitynicholai wrote:shrink it down under 640 X 480 this helps a lot. I would suggest getting Adobe Photoshop, that allows you to adjust the image quality (which also determines filesize) without noticing a drop in quality
Hayseed not nessisarly in photoshop... it is used for professional applications so if you adjust the quality a tiny bit then it wont nessisarily be noticed
