Somebody Stop Me

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Somebody stop me . seems that my cannons just keep gettting bigger all the time. this one is really simple .but just p lain big. It is 11ft. and 6 in. total. it will shoot a 2" spud into the horizon till it just disapears.

Even though the valve is a 2" manual ,I open it by gripping it with both hands and very quickly. It doesn't go whoosh . it goes pow. The cart is used mainly for welding but doubles as a cannon cart. It could use some painting.

Nice cannon! I assuming when you go bigger your objective is to acheive more power right? Have you ever constructed a piston cannon? If not I would highly suggest it for you because you seem to like power (spud gun power of course). Your right about how your cannons are getting bigger.

Sergant it is a 3" chamber considering that his 2" barrel is slightly smaller then the chamber.

It is a 3" chamber 5' in length. The barrel is also 5' in length. the valve and external fittings make up about 18" . I have never made a piston type cannon I've only been doing this about 5 months . I started to build a small coaxial type a few days ago and I got sidetracked and built a mini marble and paintball thing out of left over pieces from other projects. I'ts a cute little thing I might post it sometime, it will shoot a paintball about 400ft. It probably weighs about a pound.

i know how you feel with cannons getting bigger and bigger
ive been trying to post mine, but have been having trouble
not to brag or anything, but my cannon is about 12' 9"

speaking of which, can someone help me with posting my cannon?
