im making a new copper airgun and i found an old scope and i wanted to mount it on the barrel. i was thinking simply using a hose clamp and maybe some glue. does any body have any other ideas for mounting it (i really dont want to drill holes). this has a curve on the side and is curved pefectly for 1/2'' pipe.

I really want some type of sights on my gun, so does anybody know of any other type of sights that are easy to make? click on image to make it bigger.

while on the topics of sights.... does someone want to do a "how-to" for making your own open sights?

oh n super spuder, epoxy on a rail then ya can remove the scope wen ya need to. make sure its square to the barrel though.

Well, sights will be much easier to make if you use a single pressure rating and a single type of ammo -- try making sights similar to those on a grenade launcher. Like so:

Although your gun may be a higher velocity, the leaf design may be a good starting point.

i guess i could make one of those, but i really had my heart set on the scope. i was going to mold a bullet-like shape and make a bunch of them. also going to shoot marbles.

by the way, does 1/2'' pvc or 1/2'' copper have a larger inner diameter? i know that one is smaller than the other, i just cant remember which one. im talking about type L copper and SCH40 pvc.

well i have thought about it, and all i can think of is using JB weld to stick the rail to the camber or whatever you are sticking it to, chaos, i wish you would do a how to on making your own open sights, i would like to read that, i could use some sights on my up and coming marble gun
