I recently bought a sprinkler valve and was wondering, is the manual pilot switch make the valve open any slower than the solenoid?
Another thing I've noticed, I found out what "Honking" means, it's probably just because I'm not pressurizing it much, it's just taped together for testing.

I'm pretty sure the manual switch opens just a little slower. I think (although I'm not sure) Solenoids move fairly quickly. I doubt that there is much difference though because both the manual switch and solenoid leak out the same hole.
What would gluing change, the fittings are threaded into the sprinkler. I just hope the honking loudness is'nt proportional to the pressure being released.
