First Micro

ive been surffing this fourm for along time and today i have finally built my first cannon execpt it is a micro but its still a cannon. Im building a full cannon on the weekend with my cousin. from left to right ramrod, cannon, oust mini air fressioner and qtips for ammo.

has any1 ever thought about using an empty spray can as a chamber?

you mean for a pneumatic? if for a combustion, how would you get the fuel in because there is no cap on them?

As a matter of fact, when I was thinking "what can I use for a combustion chamber" a couple of years ago, a large (bug spray - the largest I could find) spray can was the 1st thing that popped into my head.
And last year - tosser knows - I had an idea about mini spray can coaxial piston pneumatics for a revolver-type-thing
@cardinals08: You take the top part off (valve assemblly) or just drill a hole at one of the ends.

just curious how well the oust works... im sick of hearing my parents complain about the stinky smell of axe.

i was actualy planing on makeing a combustion cannon out of axe can but never got round to it.

TalonXxX: the oust works pretty well but what i like about it is that it is only shoots a burts ever time you click it so its very easily measured but im still having some problems getting the right air/fuel mixture.

Is that a travel size pill container? if so tell me how you load it with fuel I been having some probs with the fuel mix.

Ive been having problems too it only shoots like 1 out of 20 times so im going to get a something like axe or something that i can control the spray burst. Right now i am woking on a cannon that i though of walk home from school yesterday. Combustion out of a water bottle. I made my first prototype but i need a stronger water bottle because every time i shot it it would melt... so im off at lunch to get a better bottle.

how about a soda can? although thin, they should be able to hold enough pressure for a combustion, I think

made it at lunch. all my firends were like WOW and fired it once outside pretty loud and cool did not melt but it expaneded as it shot. qtip didnt go to far need something heavier and it should go pretty far. Teacher thought we were somking pot cuz there were like 12 of us outside. Nothing more than that and i didnt get caught which was a big bonus.
