I made a mini spud out of a 12 ounce coke bottle and a piece of 3/4 inch copper tubing that is about the same length of the bottle, just a little longer, because I just made it from scraps laying around the house. the copper tube had a 90' elbow in it and I attached it to the bottle from that end, put it on the side of the bottle about 1 inch from the bottom of the bottle so it would be an over under style gun. I went outside to test it and it sucks, the potato was only going about 20 feet. I cut it by shoving it into the barrel so it should have a tight fit. I have no Idea what could be wrong. Is it just the elbow in the barrel?

Well, the 12" barrel isn't helping, but you probably have a mixture problem or something. You know the procedure to fix that, right?
