very nice, high fives. Those silly gypsie cans bother you no more.

Seriously though that was cool, you must have a high fps out that gun to get through 3 cans before the first one knocks them down
Awesome

Edit: that video clip resembles a crazy foreign film I saw on sbs once, it was based around luck, however the people were running through a forest with branches sharpened at chest height. The final two contenders at the end played Russian rulete with 5 bullets in a 6 shooter  needles to say it was a good movie but don't ask for the name coz I was quite sauced when I was watching it :D

Hi,

I also use a spring to re-seal one of my valves. It wasn´t much rocket science to find the right tension / force; all I needed was one that would overcome friction and push the piston against the seal. The force of the spring is very small in comparison to the pneumatic force when it opens.

i totally agree with you there.

i still wonder how much it actually affects it performance wise :?

Why would you want to re-seal your valve straight away? Mine seals at under 5psi anyway, it wouldn't be saving much air by having a spring.

he fills from the chamber so he needs the spring to keep the barrel sealed during filling.

Got a question: The spring works with the piston but will it work with a diaphragm? I would think it will since it does in a sprinkler valve. I was wanting to put a diaphragm valve in my next cannon but wanted to fill it from the chamber.

No. I replaced the spring in my sprinkler cannon with one from an airsoft pistol and it didn't seal immediately. The only thing that worked was adjusting a ball valve that I had in the middle of the chamber until it bled air VERY slowly(almost like a needle valve's flow rate) and it took about 5 seconds to refill but I had no leaks with that system.

EDIT: I no longer have this gun whole; it broke; my dad got pissed cause he thought it was a combustion and it is now in 3 pieces, not counting the barrel which I was able to salvage.
