I have a leftover solenoid, what should I do with it. I works perfectly, and I want to do something cool with it. BTW this is just the solenoid, not the valve. I already used the search button and came up with nothing.

Ok, this is completly off the top of my head, but it would be sweet.
Get a lantern lighter. Somehow remove the spinning part, and attach it to the motor. (yah know what I mean??) Now, make the spinning part rub against the flint when the motor spins!
Result = A continuous stream of sparks!
Now, I am not sure if the motor is strong or fast enough to do this, but just try it out, ok.

i say shoot it or plug it into a 120vac outlet and wait till it melts... basically find a sweet way to destroy it.
