A Mini highlighter/pen spud gun.
This is my first mini spud gun fresh off the line, I have yet to even fire it as the super glue is curing at this point.
First off the images

This is made of 3 basic items:
1 - Bic pen
1 - "Avery Hi-Liter"
1 - Cheap fireplace/grill lighter from ebay (10 for about $10)
The one thing I always see people do is take the sparker out of the lighter making it harder to hold and having to tape it to the gun itself.
my lighter had a nice way of attaching the wire to the bottom silver stub on the sparker so I just left it in there and ran the wires out the top.
Another thing I did for this was used the fuel from the lighter to fuel the cannon. I can set the fuel knob to give a short burst of fuel followed by the spark. The great thing about that is the even rate of fires I can do...no measuring fuel or guessing getting too much or too little....great amount each and every time.
Just thought I would share this little spud gun with everyone.
Thanks,
Dave

Nice to see other people actually taking time to make minis look nice, instead of just duct taping a buch of things together. I would suggest a mix of butane and isoprypol alcohol as the fuel for the gun, it extends the life of the butane and slightly inceases power. Just make sure that the alcohol is warm while loading it, you can use a Q-tip to swab the inside with it.
Good luck!
