Aluminium Pipe/Fittings

Just wondering,can anyone clear up if 40mm BSP Aluminium fittings are available.For use in my Hybrid,for welding a nipple onto the chamber(made from Aluminium)and I would rather not have a 40mm hole tapped into the chamber,as that would cost a pretty penny.

You can have the threads cut on a lathe, cheap. BSP is a straight thread, no taper, the only thing that needs to be figured out is the thread pitch and depth of the thread, and if there is enough metal to cut into it while still remaining strong. A machine shop could do this for you at a fairly low price, it would be a rather simple process (I could do it, if I had a proper lathe available).

That is my second plan,but I have got it all figured out.With the help of my uncle and some machining tools,the build begins!

just to add something here, BSP threads can have either parallel or tapered threads.

well it involves a bit of on site maintenance at a well known pet food company's factory (all food grade soo well now ya know y i use stainless for all my creations) it also involves fitting of parts, metal fabrication and some machinery installation.
