I guess I should post this before I get lazy again.

This pump is not completely done; I still need to make a solid base and bolt everything down (It's hard to pump as it is right now).

-Body: 29" x 1/2" copper tubing
-(sleeved in 3/4" conduit for strength)
-Gauge: 0-1800 psi oxygen rated.
-Hookup: Mirco- quick connect valve
-Floating o-ring piston
-Homemade check valve made from modified fitting+schrader valve.

The schrader valve works, but it takes a lot of force to open it, so pumping becomes harder than it needs to be after a while. I may replace it with a completely homemade checkvalve later.

Prices:
Copper- ~$6.50
Fittings- (2 elbows, tee, bushing ~$7
Handle from and old pump which cost $10 before it broke
Everything else- Free

And of course, I don't have a gun to use this with.

Should be able to get past 1000 once I get a base made.

Looking good! That's very good pressure. Now you need to build something to use it in. (It'll drive you nuts if you don't.)

Just an idea, why not take spring out of the schrader so it closes by pressure only - or even easier, just use a presta valve?

But why first build a pump instead of a gun?

Well, Apparently this is the only schrader valve in the world that has an internal spring(not visible on the actual valve), otherwise I would have. I don't think anyone sells presta valves around here. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen one in person.

I will need this for the injector on my railgun. Other than that, no reason, really. I just had the materials avalible.

Blowing a line at that pressure would be nasty! Nice work! Now, will your gun hold that kinda pressure? I guess so, you built it for that reason.
