Working with 2.5" electrical PVC conduit...

...I have bought a length of conduit to make a tennis ball gun but cannot find out how to cap the ends and attach tubing to the valve. it seems that none of the PVC fitting are standard to the conduit.

I have searched the site and see the end result, but not how it was arrived at.

Can anyone help :?:

What I did was I made my own bushing. Do not try to do this if it is going to have to hold pressure!! My tennis ball cannon has a 3/4" QEV on it, so I had a 3/4" pvc bushing, which will fit into 1.25" pipe,which will fit into a 1.25" coupler, which will fit in 2" pipe, which will fit into 2.5" pvc electrical conduit. All I had to do was wrap tape around each of the fittings until it was a tight fit, then I stuffed it all into the back of the barrel, then secured it with a few screws.

Edit: here's a picture of my setup, you can sort of see the different couplers and pipes.

Wouldn't that leak? or would you put some sort of sealent against it.... Epoxy maybe?

That's why I said not to use it for anything that needs to be able to hold pressure. There is no sealant or epoxy on it, I just wrapped the different parts with tape to make them seal a little better. This was for the barrel, and only needs to hold pressure for a fraction of a second, so a small leak is not a big deal.
It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.
