electrical conduit
I know it isn't pressure rated, but I bought a big piece of the 2 1/2 inch conduit for tennis balls, and I have a lot left over. I was just wondering if anyone has ever pressure tested this stuff?...

The problem with the pipe is that it isn't manufauctured with the same process as pressure rated pipe. It is much more flexible that is why you can usually bend it with your bare hands. You should be able to use it for a barrel ONLY. Make sure you don't put too much stress on it my leaning it on things.
Yeah that's what I figured, I was just wondering if I figured wrong though. I guess I'll just have spare for future tennis ball barrels...

I would reccomend with all 2.5" Sch 40 barrels that you: Take a piece of 2 inch pipe, wrap the end in 1 layer of 220 grit sandpaper. Then sand the inside of the 2.5" pipe with a twisting motion until the pipe is slightly larger inside and smooth. If you want you can make it even smoother with 600, 800, than 1000 grit paper.
EDIT: Yes tennis balls are a VERY tight fit. I would reccomend wetting them otherwise they get burn marks on them from the friction.

Thanks, I don't have any tennis balls yet to try it, but I'm guessing it's a tight fit when you don't sand it?
