Battery Holder

I got sick of carrying batteries in my pocket so I came up with an idea. I drilled 2 long holes in my wooden trigger grip, and slid the batteries into them and closed em up. When I need a new one I just open the flap and pop a battery out. I thought about putting the holes on the side but the wood wasn't thick enough.

do u mean drill into the side or form the bottom and up?

I have it so they eject out of the bottom kinda like a clip. I'm gonna make a cooler one with a button release.
