Propane injection

So ive been looking around and it seems to me as though the best fuel is propane but that it also needs some sort of metering system, how precisley is this accomplished and do you use just like a white lp tank for storage or what...?

A metering system isn't strictly needed, but without one you arn't getting more power or consistancy than with aerosol propelents.
