For all the times people have said, don't use unrated pipe - it's dangerous, I have only ever seen one fail (see below). Hopefully this is as a result of us warning everyone, but surely someone must have some documentation?

I am hoping to show the dangers to a guy using unrated pipe to 7bar in a bottle rocket assembly, and I really wanted a video. Does anyone have any videos or even photos of this?

Although the guy in the film wasn't even using piping as a chamber from the looks of it but ya if u don't use pressure rated pipe u could kill yourself or others. I was told a while ago that PVC splinters when it blows yet ABS pipe just cracks in half. is this true?

That sort of pipe is really brittle and if I'm not mistaken particular to the UK, I'm sure UKSGC members are already aware of the dangers.

Um, that's not pipe he's using, that's plant pots - those don't come with any pressure rating... :P

This guys videos might prove useful to you however: http://youtube.com/user/radude131

I don't think it was set up, if it was set up, he probably would have been wearing safety glasses. (but you never know, it could be darwin at work)
