first of all i want to thanks BTB for this share of this concept.
piloting the piston valve that i build was the hard part, what i seek is a small trigger ,good flow and fast opening and handling a HPA.

BTB concept solved my problem

so here it is

picture of the parts will come later

My English is not the best either - but it is well above average and I can tell you with absolute certainty that it certainly is understandable.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

That's fantastic. I'd love to know how it works. Is it just a big bulky homemade poppet valve or?..

Nice to see you tried this!
Thanks for sharing it.

Somehow my 1/4" version seems a bit silly...

It must have huge flow!

It used a piston opposite to the sealing face.
Pressure is now equal on both sides and you only need to push back against the force generated by a spring to open it.

How is the button rod sealed to the valve body?

with a floating O-ring...

Side note:
If you put a strong spring on the button side this valve will work as a regulator..closing when the spring force is equaled by the pressure.

The valve must be connected to a closed system of course..for it to regulate pressure..

But perhaps I'll have to make one to show you guys how... :D

Seen as it's balanced, I'll guess not. Seriously man, it's been said at least twice in this thread that the only force to counter is the spring...

Very good work far cry
