right now i have a 11" piece of 3/4 copper. i soldered a female addapter to it but the threads go smaller than the walls of the pipe. what fitting would i use to make my piston serviceable, and have the barrel. i was thinking a hole drilled in an end cap?

Reducer to larger threads, male cap..the list goes on. You just need to do some short experimenting and find out what you want.
