hello spud files. its been awhile since ive done a piston valve so im glad to be done with poopy ball valves
Specs;
Barrel: 1/2 inch pvc
Chamber: 1 1/4 inch pvc around barrel
Exhaust valve: 1/2 inch ball valve
filling: air compressor thing. usually at 160 psi from an ex-propane tank that can be stored in a back pack for mobility
Piston: a 3/4 inch end cap. the sealing face is a rubber O-ring(type 14 i believe) that is epoxied onto the barrel. so the sealing face is not attached to the piston so i dont need large sheets of rubber to cutout and place on pistons.
main ammo: AA batteries.
tell me what you think thanks

Nice job. Did you get the idea of a valve seat from my Mouse Musket? That is built almost exactly like mine but smaller. The Musket was a 2 inch chamber with a 1 inch barrel.

Looks as if you glued in the back bushing. I would have used a female adapter in place of the coupling and a threaded bushing to make it serviceable. But I mean if your piston is only a cap then i guess the only servicing it would need would be to put in an actual new cap... Other than that nice job.

I built a coax a few months ago. I was I my us house when I built it but then we went back to our current location. Only now did I clalculate that the c/b ratio was like 7 to 1. Lol gotta fix that when we go back for winter in 3 days. :P

its very simple. i just epoxied an o-ring to the rear end of the barrel so all the piston does is apply pressure instead of apply a seal and pressure. i find it simpler and easier
