I found these little knob things laying around I'm not sure what they are called but I guess a hardware store probably carries them, they fit 1/2" barrel absolutely perfectly (even better than the ball bearings I have) and together have a very nice weight to them...

They look really good and it would do some damage but I dont think it would have a very good flight path since its even on both sides causing it tumble around when shot but you could use one of the domes and glue it on that brass part.

You should take one of the domes and thread it into a length of dowel of suitable diameter...

You could put a conical tail on it to give it a teardrop shape and then make a sabot.

The sabot could simply be from the same dowel stock, just drilled to asscept the conical tail, and cut so that it seperates upon exit.

I figured that much but its meant to be for pure impact not accuracy or penetration.

It hit sideways at only about 15-20 feet away...
