plz help with solenoids

Bigger isn't always better. Using a mallet to swat a fly can be effective, but it doesn't mean it's the best solution.

What barrel size did you have in mind? For smaller (sub 20mm) bores and if you don't particularly need electronic ignition, don't forget there are lots of cheap quick exhaust valves on eBay.

Bigger is better as long as it significantly reduces pressure loss at maximum flow. Too big has diminishing returns.

i want to make a paint ball sniper im unsure weather to use a solenoid valve or a piston valve i was just wondering the best size for that
