Have a multi-shot pneumatic t-shirt gun, with a Ø3"x18" Barrel. We had already planned on shooting out some t-shirts at a show, but thought it'd be neat to also shoot some confetti. Are there any good practices for shooting confetti. Thought's I've had so far:
-Tshirt in barrel as wadding then fill the rest with confetti
-Have a wadding and shoot nothing but confetti
-have some sort of confetti sabot.
Should the confetti be packed, how much air is generally required to shoot confetti,
ect. ect.
anyone with any input is much appreciated

a large plastic or styrofoam cup that fits in the barrel full of confetti, that will give you some range. if you only want to shower the area immediately around you, no wadding at all.

No!
just dump it in there!
It all rushes out in a nice mushroomcloud!

I've done it and you don't need any extra's or modifications..

If you want to include streamer, they travel far. Tightly rolled on launch and stacked works very well. The stacking contains the mass for good altitude and they spill and unroll. I have a sample with a 130 foot streamer here.
This is too big for indoors. Smaller streamers are needed and more of them for indoors.
