I recently stripped my HPA tank's Paint as it was really chipped and scratched, i was wondering if i etch-primer it then spray it, if i put it in the industrial paint oven at work will it soften the aluminium whilst the paint bakes on causing it to fail a hydro?

Under 250F should be fine. A powdercoat oven may be a little too hot, I'm not sure.

Most important is the removal of all valves and pressure relief valves. The higher temperatures my be a problem for the seals if the oven exceeds 120F.

Pictures, the strap wrench didn't work so i put it in the vice with rubber tube against the jaws and used a long bar with 1/8" Bsp threads in the end, Will be painted within the next 3 weeks.
