walther cp99 blowback. slide stopper isnt catching slide!

the slide stopper , stopped working , when i cock the gun the slide doesnt latch on the stopper anymore , i just bought the gun and cocked it about 10 times before it stopped catching the slide. i took it apart and found a small spring holding the stopper down but doesnt it need to hold it upwards to catch the slide everytime you cock the gun ?!

anyone have this problem, or know how to fix it , thanks alot !

If you mean that the Slide Catch Lever is holding the slide rearwards all the time even when the mag is full then you just have to slightly bend the Slide catch spring to give the spring more tension. This will hold the catch down and out of the way of the slide so it will only catch when the mag is empty.

I had a similar problem last week with my KWA M93R Airsoft and bending the spring fixed it!. Below is a link of what you do with the M93R but its same principal on the P99
