New cover for indexing mechanism, new trigger valve, trigger and mechanical safety. Increased flow from source tank, increased size of slide to accommodate indexing mechanism mount. Lots of new rails to mount handle, front sight, leaf sight, sling mount, etc.

Variable velocity with four indexed settings. Constant pressure.

10 pounds without tank. Will be working on lighter cam and fluting to reduce weight next.

Production parts being racked to anodize today.

Have you tried it with anMGL style indirect fire sight mount?

Just mounted a quadrant sight to the Ar style handle. It fits great but it has an offset angle to compensate for rifling drift. I am ordering a Knight's Armament leaf sight to mount in front of the handle. I might also mount an optical quadrant on the side rail. Lots of possibilities now. Perhaps a quadrant EoTech eventually.

This is at about 275psi with small volume ballast. 40gram projectile. If you listen you can faintly hear the shot go off as the camera zooms out.

What's the purpose of having elevated sights when your barrel is already up high like that?


It seems overkill.And it looks a bit awkward..

Is it availability or cost?
Or what the customer ordered?

It places the target in the proper position when the launcher is held against the chest. This is common with entry teams who maintain their body perpendicular to the launcher for more effective use of body armor.

The form is following the function regarding the over-under layout. A customer requested the handle and the front sight matches it.

Fantastic shot on the video! If that were a frag the "wow" would never have been uttered... And with such a low density projectile! What was the range?

The range was around 300 meters. We will be doing more range testing soon.

That was a quite impressive shot!
I assume that this kind of pressures are going to be used for lang range shots in riot control?
The velocity on that projectile could do some serious harm on close ranges

Actually the velocity of that shot and the weight is within less-lethal ranges. The Eclipse is designed with a variable velocity selector above the pistol grip that has four power settings. We will be adding a range finder to automatically control velocity but for now it is done manually. Our target range is over twice this with a half pound projectile. This shot was fired at only around 300 psi with a small ballast. We have acheived 225 fps with a 150 gram projectile at around 400psi. Of course the heavy rounds will be for other payloads besides direct impact kinetic energy rounds.

Considering a 40mm underbarrel grenade launcher typically fires a 180 or so gram grenade at around 250 fps, that's pretty darn impressive.

You also have the benefit of being able to make a longer, more streamlined round that could potentially retain its velocity longer downrange.

Yes, the length helps with stability for the smooth bore finned rounds. We have parts made for a 7.125" cylinder as well for launching aerosol cans with water activated valves. From my understanding, "mid-range" rounds of similar weight acheive their range at around 250fps however we have not been able to test this since our aerosol rounds are tumbling and need to be made aerodynamic and/or rifling needs to be utilized.
