I hope that I don't like banned or something for saying this, but I'm 14 and I decided to take a crack at building a pellet rifle, since my mom thinks that I'f I buy a pellet rifle that I will go out and kill absolutely everybody.. I'm working on mach III still. I have pics of Mach I (PVC) and Mach 2 (wood/copper). Both reverse-bolt action, single shot. The barrels are a 1/4 inch brass brakeline tube from the local auto shop (mach I) and a .18 diameter smooth-bore tube from amazon made from stainless steel (mach II, if you're interested:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XN ... UTF8&psc=1). The scope is 4x from walmart. since I took these pics I TIG welded the fittings. I use a solenoid valve and 3 9v batteries in series. The trigger is just a push-button switch. I hook to my shop compressor. It dents 22 gauge steel. It can through-and-through a soup can. It also goes through 2 layers of jeans into ballistics gel about 3 inches. Pics:

hawktalk-

Thank you, and sadly the tape isn't holding the pneumatic fitting and gun together, it is trying to conceal the electrical wiring. I should try to make it a bit less messy. Thanks for the support!

Isn't that how we all got into spudding :) necessity is the mother of invention!

What solenoid valve are you using?

I bought one of theserecently, haven't had the time to try it out yet.
