Hello everyone! I have been building a pneumatic coaxial rifle and i'm wanting to get a 3000psi HPA tank, found one for pretty cheap on amazon. I'm gonna keep the pressure inside the gun between 60 and 100 psi, i just figured having the tank would be a lot easier instead of filling up the gun with the compressor after every shot. Since i don't know a lot about regulators i was wondering if somebody can recommend a regulator that would work with that tank and regulate the pressure from 0 - 100psi?

3000psi "hpa" tank is typical of paintball tanks. Likely output of the regulator already on the bottle is 850psi.

Palmers pursuit makes a solid regulator that has a low pressure option...just what you're looking for. Thread it on to the bottle, add a means of filling your launcher from it (hose and fittings) and good to go.

Of course, this all assumes that you're talking about a paintball type tank....a link to the tank in question would seem in order...

That stabilizer is expensive, will anything cheaper work?

I don't know of a readily available, less costly and safe option that will work. The reg I linked to will thread right on to the bottle you linked to, do what you want...and do it safely.

This would seem to be a less costly option, but then you would need more fittings, hoses etc. to get things hooked up....and that will quickly eat up the difference in price.

I actually ended up buying the low pressure female stabilizer I looked around and I couldn't find anything better.

I hope that you have a small gun that you are filling with that.. It's really surprising that how few fills you get from paintball sized hpa bottle and then you have to go get it filled again.
I have palmers adjustable remote stabilizer for my 1liter paintball hpa bottle but I have also larger regulator 0-16bar for a 30liter 200bar air bottle.

Not really, my air chamber is 2" wide and 20" long. If i need something different i have no clue what i would need and I can't afford a scuba tank.

Sure someone here can calculate how many fills you can get from that bottle or if you do some research you can calculate it your own.. It's very easy actually.

Could consider co2...lots more fills from a similar size bottle. Reg will work with paintball co2 bottles too.

I don't think that calculator has do with pvc air guns. They want me to enter a psi reading for my air gun 500psi or more. I only plan on putting 60 to 100psi in my gun, any more than that the gun will explode. I already bought that hpa tank, if it doesn't work out for what i need then i'll try co2. I got like 3 co2 bottles just lying around. Could anybody calculate my gun if i gave them the info?
