Hey Guys,

I'm realy new in this forum and I'm glad to found it, alot of you build awesome Rifles ^^.
I'm planning to build my first semi-professional Air-Rifle and want to try to build all valves by my own.

What do u think about my Set-Up?
Will the pistons work in the way how i want them to work?
And what do u think about my "Custom-QEV-Construktion".

I'm thankfull for all hints to make it better.

Here is my functional sketch.
At the moment there are some missing O-Rings, but i think u will see where I'll go to insert them ^^.

Hello Jack,

First of all, welcome to the spudfiles!

You have great ambitions and your sketch look professional.
I take you have acces to advanced machinery, otherwise you wouldn't get very far.
I do see that you have quite a bit of 'dead space', between the QEV and the oneway valve.
This air gets wasted, so for efficiency keep this volume to a minimum.

With selfmade valves and such, safety is the greatest issue. Before you use it, I'd advise you to test your gun thoroughly.
I used an old fridge and some mirrors so that I could read the pressure of the manometer of the gun inside the fridge,
while being behind a solid wall. Test your setup 10-40 times, depending on how much you trust its strength.
For the testing, you should go higher than your intended working pressure, like 30-50% higher.

Furthermore, I'm interested to see future development!
