you can see my basic fire extinguisher rifle here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWwxx3_mRv0
and a couple a more shots firing it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1uTplTn36g

Its as simple as I could make it and goes alright for a first try, has two different screw in barrels for rifle fire and for shotgun fire, I'd like to be able to modify this build to use only a bit of air with each shot and have more then one shot, but my most pressing concern is getting a higher pressure pump that works, I went through 2 pumps so far and the electric pump I'm using in the video only lasts 2-3 times before the battery dies and only fills to 160psi, so its pretty much useless at this point, is there any pumps available that fill at a decent speed at high pressure without breaking?
I don't want to sink $250 into buying a air compressor.

looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions

Most two-three stage PCP pumps will work, but will cost you roughly the same as a cheap air compressor. :D

If you're looking for the pressures you could safely contain in that fire extinguisher tank, modifying an A/C or refrigerator compressor to pump air is probably your most reliable and cheap bet. My pump lasted a couple of years before it went into storage, and it will probably still work fine today. It was based on the compressor out of a junk window unit I found.
