Is This Design Good

I attempted to make a co-axial piston marble gun but it wouldnt work so I decided to go with what i'm used to. I made an inline with a 40mm x 40cm chamber and a 16mm steel marble barrel it shot very well and had good accuracy. I decided that I would like a stock and I was wondering if having a PVC stock which doubled as a chamber would work so I drew up a 3D model.

The chamber is 1m of 25mm pipe and the barrel is a 16mm marble barrel that is 1m long.

I am sure this will work but I was wondering if the flow would be so restricted as to hinder performance.

Another idea I had was to create a wooden stock using two pieces of wood and routing out channels for the PVC stock/chamber and then sticking the two pieces of wood together with the PVC in the middle.

You should make it with a larger chamber and a longer barrel, it will be more power full. Your design would not restrict preformance because if you think about it, all you are doing is adding to the chamber volume.

Blowguns have poor flow, ball valves have much better flow. If you put and elbow on the fitting fixed to the top of the diaphram then put the ball valve and behind it another elbow and a length of pipe you could have a trigger and handle. For better looks and to make it comfortible fasion the ball valve handle into a trigger.

Here are some proper specs:
25mm (1") x 1m (3.2') Chamber
1" Lawn Genie Sprinkler Valve modified with a Dust Cleaner
16mm (0.5") x 1m Marble Barrel

I am still waiting on some feedback regarding the idea of encasing the gun in a wooden stock.

The reason I have such a small chamber is so that I can fill it up easily with a bike pump, I figured out that it has the same chamber volume as my old 40mm chamber and that was very easy to pump.

Well i agree with DEMON that you should make the barrel and chamber bigger. I also see that you are going to use a wye and that most, if not all, that i see are dwv and arn't pressure rated. Just make sure that they are before buying them.

All of the fittings will be pressure rated. I'm still not sure that the chamber or barrel should be bigger because I want to be able to pump it up quickly with my bike pump. This chamber has the same volume as the old chamber that I used with this valve and barrel and it was powerful and easy to pump.
