Well here she is! (yes, It's a girl, Duh)
I nicknamed it the "Sparkin' holy!" (after an incident with a fueled chamber, spark and my bare hand) It just seemed to make sense!

It's a mini electronic hybrid to play with till I finish my big one. It's all 3/4 apart from the barrel, I think thats 1/4 pvc. The valve is an electronic micro valve, Very fast. Anyway, instead of posting another 2000 words (Lol, did anyone out there get that?) here are the pics!

Is the valve triggered simultaneously with the spark, or does it open simply from the pressure?

Got a video of it working, i'd like to see it work/shoot. Looks cool enough, machenicly(sp) speaking.

So firing ingites the fuel mix and opens the valve simultaneously? (more or less)

Sounds like an ingenious was of avoiding messing about with burst disks :)

I have a new way of igniting this. Momentary switch hooked up to a 9v, Running to the electrodes which have a bit of steel wool on them and then have that running to a 2 second delay switch. Better than having to press 2 buttons...lol.

Looks good. I guess it will either open the valve properly, or blow the diaphram and fire! :P

That thing looks like a lot of fun. I like making small little pneumatics like that to play around with but i've never tryed a hybrid and i don't plant to.
