is cleaner the same as primer?

i wnet to hd yesterday and got stuff called Okley clear cleaner, is it just a diferent name for primer? thanks

no, cleaner is just to get and gunk of teh pipe before you glue.
You need primer too.

damn..... the home depot guy gave me cleaner when i asked for primer.
