watermaster valve leaking!

I bought a orbit watermaster and everything else last night and put it together and it didnt leak. But i just now pumped it higher and it started hissing lightly. at first on the blowgun (which was loose) so i added more teflo n tape and screwed it tighter and then it started leaking out the barrel instead of the blowgun. its not the hose cause i dont have any and i use lots of teflon tape.......Help Please!

Mine had this problem for a while what happened was that it wasn't sealing correctly.

Put a ball valve behind the sprinkler so you can equalize the pressure above and below the diaphram.

Then when you turn the ball valve it wont leak. then shoot.

How much is leaking? A bit should leak at first to get the diaphragm to close.

ive let it go for a while and it just keeps leakingand ive greased it with dow 33 (paintball gun lube) like 4 times and nothing at all happened

this happens to me sometimes. just clean the underside of the phram

that hapened to me, the problem wih mine was that the solinoid wasnt sealed up well enough and it leaked. you need to take it apart and fill the solinoid from inside too. that should fix it.
