How to shoot a golf ball

I have a 2 inch barrell and i wanted to know how to shoot a golf ball if the air will just go around it. I think i have to put some sort of seal in it? can someone explain to me?

hmmm actually after looking at this i was wondering if i would be able to just put a wet paper towel down to barrel and then load my stuff in would that work? Cause i already cut the barrel and i forgot to exact measurements.

anything that seals in the barrel and wont break is fine for a wad.
