G'day guys, I just re-did my gun. Ive decided to use my heavily modded blowgun instead of the ball valve and I've re-designed the piston. It's alot more comfortable and the power is actually alot better. I should be attatching the stock and the pump pretty soon.

That does look comfortable,and when you attach the shock pump to the bottom(your doing that right?)it'll be like a pump action high powered BB gun,cant wait.

Yeah lads, thats the plan. Thats why I've got the mf elbow in place where the schrader is, to keep it nice, flat n streamline. I've been shooting these homemade darts with my mate all avo at 160psi. They travel so quick, you don't see the flight time so at 300psi, it shall be jaw dropping.

Well lads,

Looks like the gun is really getting there now. I've come up with a great way to add the stock except I don't know what to go with, either metal or a wooden stock. I bought the pump off ebay on saturday night so I should have that by the end of this week or early into the week after.

I was quite surprised at how well I made this gun. I can shoot it as low as 5 psi and as high as 180psi (so far not one leak....300psi is looking promicing ) and I'm able to rip cans apart at 10 or so meters. Good to see she's nice and accurate.

If I were you I'd leave the copper and brass fittings bare and polish them a little, paint the blowgun black then a nice varnished wooden stock with a bit of effort and finishing would really fit the look.

Thats a top idea. I was planning on polishing the fittings anyway. A french polished hardwood stock would look great.

That's a heck of a gun you've built yourself. Shame it has to be muzzleloading (it's coax right?) But I guess the deceptively simple look is worth it. You really ought to make a stock for it.

Nice, my one concern would be that over time the barrel is going to dig into your seal and ruin it but since you can replace the piston easily it's not a problem.

Yeah thats it but not to worry. Replacing it doesn't worry me.

UPDATE: The stock mounting has been made and the stock is currently being made.

The shock pump shall be arriving at the start of next week.
