Inline Vortex Blocks
no what i mean is because of the cold and the fact that some liquid co2 could get in. Would it have the effect of what i had mentenond. So thats what i was wondering also on the inline vortex blocks do you just pour the bb's in then lid her up and go. Or do you need to do other stuff up to date now i've only done very simple cannons. thanks
I don't think liquid CO2 would affect the gun too much, because pressure is constantly leaking out of the barrel. Liquid CO2 may ruin the O-rings on the blowgun though, causing you to shoot until the pressure runs out. And yes, with any type of strafer you just pour in BBs and close up the fill point.
I do wonder though, doesn't having only shrouds around the block make it less efficient? I mean, If you were to totally seal it off, wouldn't it work better? Or at least use less air?
Huh? Then why did you include them in the tutorial? What I really meant to say is: Does not having the block completely sealed in reduce efficiency? If you were to completely seal it with shrouds all the way around, wouldn't there be less dead space, and therefore better performance? That would eliminate the need for putting it in a pipe also 8). And, if you make the shrouds with plexiglass you could also see the bb's flying around in there. 8) 8) 8)As far as I can tell, shrouds only seem to reduce feed and jam up the block, so I just leave them off.
I couldn't understand the other questions.
I had them in the tutorial because it was one of my first few blocks.
Having the block sealed would let you shoot for about a tap of the blowgun, and you wouldn't be able to reload after shooting.
When did I say the thing in your sig?
