shock pump

uh yea i have aa question may be a nnooobie question but what is so good bout a shock pump? what advantages dus it have over regullar pumps?

shock pumps pump very little volume of air, put can go up to insane pressures. That is what is so good about them.

Higher pressures. (350+psi).
A decent CO2 or nitrogen setup is far better because of the fact that shock pumps are very low volume.

Shock pumps are good for smaller chambers because they can get them to higher pressures but they aren't very good for larger chambers.
The average rating on them is like 300 psi but some people have taken them higher than that I think.

is it really easy to pump ? like regular pumps tend to go really hard when at higher pressures so u have to like put ur whole body wieght on it :evil:

It takes a bit of effort to take it to higher pressures so I find it needs to be rested on a hard surface, so if you do have it as an on-board pump make sure it's securely attached.
