Good 1.5 in piston?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

you can mold it from hot glue. i made a 2'' piston once. kinda messy and it uses several glue sticks, but it works.

ok guys thanks but i found one and am using a 1 inch end cap sanded down a bit.
current projects: co-axial piston valve.Status DONE!
S.P.E.C.S update mk 1 construction begining in febuary all the maths for it are done plans are drawn up and parts are listed.
NEXT project:auto piston valve.

i tried that on my first coaxial. it failed miserably. hence, i molded it out of hot glue...

why did it fail?

it wasn't round enough. it was not very smooth and it was uneven.

I think you should just get some hot glue and mold it but if that is not an option I would suggest my earlier idea with the milk caps it would be so lightweight you woldnt need a bumper. I have not tryed it but I would be surprised it didnt work.

Yes, my 1" coupler worked nicely, but I recently found that the good old washers on a bolt design works quite nicely if you use the "100% ceal with no o-rings," method found in the how-to section. I just finished the valve for my biggest cannon, and it works amazingly well.
But yeah, hot glue works well too. Plus I've found that you don't need a bumber for hot glue.
