(correct me if I am wrong) A longer barrel won't increase power, it will increase accuracy. The power is in the chamber my friend. The chamber...

If not made well they can be very unreliable and have a tendency to break
I think if you use commercial check valves it is fool proof, but i have never made one.

The commercial check valves are rated to 150psi :roll:
Not suitable for a high pressure pump in my opinion

A longer barrel can help performance by an unbelievable margin, not just in accuraccy but in power

Yes but that thing is 20 bucks
Making your own wouldnt cost more than 5

The ones that are rated to 500 psi are like less than 10 bucks so i think would use them instead though.
