breach loader

I'm making an air cannon with a 1/2 inch barrel and i want to make a breach loader only using PVC pipe no copper or metal is this possible?

Yes...just take a 1/2" coupler, bore out the stop, and add some type of material to make it seal up better.

and then cut a section out of the top of the barrel, the coupler sleeves the barrel so that you slide it to open the breech.

I built this bolt-action spud gun. It works wonderful and was pretty easy to make.

I didn't make that instructable, I just used the plans. You can see the gun on spudtech too.
