idea for 3/4" QEv Sawed-off

I like it quick quetion however- how do you plan on reloading the mag?

I presume a threaded cap on the end or something similar.

Also how were you planning to seal it?

I can reload it by breaking open the barrel completely.

Simple huh?

I plan to seal it by sliding a pipe over the barrel and the qev port.
Wich I need to lathe down to fit the sliding pipe.

I plan to either fill the reservoir with a fridge pump to whatever pressure I can get, or replace the entire reservoir by a CO2 bottle and " reg" it with the internal pop-off safety valve.This should give me a lower working pressure.
Just low enough so the hammer valve doesn't lock up.

How big of a spring do you think you'll need to cock that hammer and have it successfully fire?

The same one I used on B2TB..It's about 1/2" diameter and 2" long.

The hammer doesn't need much force, just mass and speed.
The moment the hammer hits the valve, the spring is no longer pushing.

If it were, the valve would not close back up.

Gotta get the money first...so it will be a wait.
Got some more brainstorming to do about a hammervalve and piston roled into one in the mean time.

\with the valve piloting on the barrel side, through the piston..

It will take a lathe, 3 O-rings and it will start a new wave on SF if I get it right...

Brilliant! I'm unsure about that magazine, but if you have a lathe to do the sliding collar on it will be fine. Good idea on the inbuilt "reg", it should work great.

The magazine idea is really good! It reminds me on your "falling block" design, but now with a better possibility to seal.

I have to agree. The barrel is going to have to solidly reconnect to the breach for each shot. How is this better than a more standard magazine/bolt type loader?
