I threw this gun together out of spare materials. This gun is very simple but powerful. i use dowels as bullet even marbles also works great as a water gun.

BARREL: 1/2''steel
TRIGGER: Ball valve
CHAMBER: 1/2''nipple,2reducers,1''nipple, all steel
OVERALL LENGTH:13''
I epoxied a tire valve into The last reducer.

Even while ball valves are barely accepted, don't forget that the slow opening time has even more effect when the barrel is short.
The combination of ball valve and short barrel just isnt right.

Still, it could be a fun and inexpensive 30 min. project and a way to introduce new or young ones to the spudding/cannon hobby.
