Some people with high pressure low chamber volume guns use shock pumps (used to fill air shocks) They take way too long to pump a large tank. Bike pumps work well for most stuff. For my 700 cu in beast, I often shoot at 25-50 PSI, so I got a lower pressure higher volume pump for quick fills in the field. It is a plumbers test pump used to inflate rubber bladder plugs in drain line for pressure leak testing. It has a surge tank and large gauge. For what they want for those, I could have bought a small compressor. If possible, get a pump with a surge tank. They pump much easier.hatssold wrote:Thanks guys 8) . Anyways, what kind of bike pump should i use? I dont really want to invest in a compressor right now.
Hand pumping a high pressure shot with the large bore pump is serious pushing. I need a smaller volume pump for my smaller cannon.
