Some people with high pressure low chamber volume guns use shock pumps (used to fill air shocks) They take way too long to pump a large tank. Bike pumps work well for most stuff. For my 700 cu in beast, I often shoot at 25-50 PSI, so I got a lower pressure higher volume pump for quick fills in the field. It is a plumbers test pump used to inflate rubber bladder plugs in drain line for pressure leak testing. It has a surge tank and large gauge. For what they want for those, I could have bought a small compressor. If possible, get a pump with a surge tank. They pump much easier.

Hand pumping a high pressure shot with the large bore pump is serious pushing. I need a smaller volume pump for my smaller cannon.

or build a fridge compressor....

BTW mine broke down a couple of days ago...

after about 15 years of being a part of a refrigerator and 3 years of constant abuse as a fridge compressor, which isn't a bad result I suppose.... the funny thing is that it broke down due to faulty starting circuitery... the motor itself was ok but before I realized that it burned the motor

oh well I need a new one becasue now I can't imagine spudding without it

....lol I miss you fridgy
