L96 coaxal sniper

This is my first cannon posted, I finished it last week after it sitting in parts in my room for about 3 months.
Spec's
Chamber: 750mm x 30mm galvanized steel pipe
Barrel: 700mm x 10mm aluminum
Valve: epoxy pisten
Pilot valve: modded blow gun
Fill valve: male quick conect with ball valve
Stock: carved from 750mm x 5mm x 160mm pine

Features: 3-9x40 scope, extendable butt pad and check pad

Its the most powerful cannon i've built and at 65psi can shoot through both sides of a can with a 9.5mm ballbearing and can shoot a cigarette through thick cardboard.

Mate it looks great congratulations. Now you just need high pressure And what is the scope attached with? Looks like string?

sad to say it is string, but it works. would like to go high pressure but need to build or buy a pump.

Definitely mate. If you can get your hands on a fridge compressor they can pump in excess of 500psi. If not there are heaps of examples of homemade high pressure pumps on here. Your gun is very similar to mine lol it will be up in the next couple of days.

Nicely done, but it's a real pity about the improvised attachments, surely you can epoxy a bar and attach the scope properly? Or you can take some advice from jook13 and get a cheap rail, look through the first posts

Also, as pointed out above, 65psi is far too low to get any real power from this design, you definitely need to invest in a good track or shock pump.

Is the "suppressor" functional or just a cosmetic item?

The suppressor is non functional item used to disguise the ugly end cap of the chamber. its just some PVC filled with wood filler.
I plan on going to the hardware store soon and get a bar to attach the scope and bi-pod, also for some copper pipe to build a high presser pump.
I was also thinking of welding two nuts onto the bottom of the chamber so i can bolt it straight onto the stock. Would this weaken it? if so what else could I do instead of using zip ties

Not at all, this would be a very good solution.

Very well done, One question, is it breech-loading? If not, that would be something to change. Well, now that I think about it, a coaxial is kinda hand to make breechloading, but still, something to think about.

I am really sorry, I do not mean to take over this thread, but I have a quick off topic question, I have used the search button to no avail.

How does one install a blowgun into an endcap for piloting? Soldering ? Glue ? Seriously, I do not know I have no access to screw on endcaps or something...

So should I just drill a hole in the endcap, shove the blowgun in and glue or solder, will that withstand 250 psi if done properly ?
