i got my shot pump like 3 day before i get my fridge and now don't use it
but need a 300psi gage on my fridge, i was thinking can i put a schrader valve in my fridge and then screw my shock pump to it as a gage
i have a schrader valve soldered into a 1/2inch threaded fitting that i tested to 300
do you think it will work or brake my pump?
shock pump?

It should work because the check valve is before the pressure gauge so it would measure the pressure of the fridgy output. But only do it if the gauge goes high enough for the fridgy or it might break.

The gauge should unthread from the shock pump. It is most likely 1/8"npt so just thread it into a pipe fitting on your chamber.

yeah jsut remove it... if you want to keep it on the shock pump then just buy a new gauge (or used
) for the fridge compressor

If you remove the gauge and still want to use the pump temporailly you could plug off the gauge port.POLAND_SPUD wrote:yeah jsut remove it... if you want to keep it on the shock pump then just buy a new gauge (or used) for the fridge compressor

well yeah... anyway when you've got a fridge compressor you won't even bother to use a shock pump... build yourself your own..
