Good QEV?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Is this a good qev? im going to be using it on my 6mm airgun(in the pneumatic showcase). I like this one because its small, and i like this shape over other qevs.

That's debatable... But I wouldn't care to debate it. :D

Fine, much better than an unmodded manually operated ball valve :P :D

Also, i unscrewed the propane fill valve, and popped in a scraeder valve, and pumped it up to 125 psi, and fired a nail dart and holy shit was it loud and powerful!

Since you have a small metal chamber, why not invest in a shock pump?

This type is reasonably priced and will happily go to 400 psi, which should give you at least 300% more power ;)

edit: looks like we linked to the same type :)

Specs rate it to 140psi but in practice many on this forum have abused larger QEVs to pressures beyond 500 psi, you shouldn't have any worries.

As to a pilot, I've used standard shop blowguns at 400-500 psi without leaks, but a ball valve is simpler and a safer bet.

I have a few of the other style QEV's (the non-boxy kind) in 1/4'' they have been to 450psi with no damage to the valve
