Has anyone built a coaxial with a 4" chamber, 3" piston, and a 2" barrel? If you have, let me know how it worked. If not, let me know what you think.
Thanks,
R. B.

yes, It should work just fine. those are kind of the average dimensions of a large coaxial. It has been done before, and It works wonderfully.

This is because of your perfect 3" piston, yes? It'll work fine.

Why yes, it is :) It's already built and works great. I just wanted to see how anyone else would fit a 4" chamber with a 3" piston. As soon as I get a better camera I'll stick it up here.

Wow, big ass cannon. Looks nice. At what pressure do you shoot it, and what's your ammo ?

5 foot long 4 inch diameter chamber with a 7 foot 2 inch diameter barrel. I've just been using potatos at 75 pounds. That's my limit on 28 acres. Most of the time I still don't even see them land.

try a 12 inch long, 3/4 inch diameter steel pipe nipple, wrapped in tape, and shot at 5 pieces of plywood at the same time. you'll enjoy it. :D
