I should make a couple of those for my mortar, they'd be pretty cool. Great thinking.

It's from a toy soldier thingy that had a weird kind of parachute that has fine mesh instead of strings (so it doesn't get all tangled up).

Well, with my cannon it goes about 150 ft straight up before it opens. It usually deploys at the max height if I packed it in the round right.

Are you firing straight up or at an angle? At an angle, the parachute would probably deploy too soon. Nonetheless, it is still a fantastic idea.

bboymatty-how big is your cannon? It seems like it would have to be pretty **** small not to fit a bouncy ball or an easter egg, or if those are too big..then take my idea with the shotgun shells in originunknown's original led tracer ammo post....

Wow your right...that is pretty small...Hmm what could you use for a tracer round...lemme think..

Are you sure a shotgun shell won't fit?? I don't have one on me...But looking at a ruler it seems like it may...But I'm not sure.. I'll look at my house when I get home
